The view from the rooms over the cathedral and station was fantastic, although you could hear some train announcements which might not please everyone! The staff at the hotel were delighful - very helpful and friendly.
Top Tip
The centre of Cologne is great for the tourist on foot. The Ludwig Museum for enthusiasts of modern art is a must, as is the Cathedral and the many other galleries and musuems in the vacinity. There are numerous good eating places including the station complex which is good for people on a more restricted budget.

Nice hotel, well sited for station.
Top Tip
Be careful crossing the road outside of the hotel. A lot of building work in progress and direct access from and to station crosses three busy roads

Very clean hotel. I arrived early, but there was no problem with checking in. The staff were very helpful, and the soft drinks in the mini-bar were free of charge.
There appeared to be a construction site in front of the hotel, but during my stay no work was in progress so it didn't affect me at all. The hotel is well placed for the station - take the exit opposite the city exit.
Top Tip
The hotel is signposted from within the station, and is visible on exit from the station.
Also well placed for the old town - just cut back through the station and you will find yourself at the cathedral and old town.
