11 stayed and none of us had any complaints. If staying for the Christmas markets it's a good location, short walk to the Heumarkt and Altermarkt and the Dom a little further on.
Top Tip
Excellent restaurant at Heumarkt called the Heumarkt Restuarant, lots of choice on menu and the food was superb. Some of our party also ate at the hotel restaurant which they also recommend

The hotel is more for business travellers and not tourists. Breakfast was reasonable but nothing special. We found it took a long time for tables to be cleared of dirty crockery and cutlery, however we found that throughout Cologne as a whole. However the reception staff could not have been more helpful. They were always polite and extremely efficient
Top Tip
It is a 10 minute walk from the centre and a bit longer to the rail station but a plus point is that it is opposite the chocolate museum which has a working chocolate factory within. We ordered taxis three times and each time they were waiting for us a came down from the room.
